My cousin had as her status on Facebook that she agrees-life would be better if there were only danger music. I'm thinking - what an excellent concept...Imagine if you weregoing to step into an empty elevator shaft, and just before you did..WHAM- you hear the theme to the TV Show EMERGENCY!! Your own personal"Spidey sense" kicks in - and you don't fall into the shaft! Man, avoided a bullet there!
Or, you're walking down the street, about to go into the subway...WHAM! you hear the fight music from Star Trek....Don't go there!!!
Wouldn't that be handy when you meet the dark-eyed stranger that wants you to have coffee with him? Maybe you would hear that Wah, Wah,Wah,Wah, that tells you he's a total loser, and not worth your time...Or, Maybe you hear Bolero in the background, indicating hot sex is a sure thing!
Maybe you send out music of your own, Space Oddity if you're an astronaut, or the Sabre Dance if you live in Buffalo....Maybe the Theme from the Good, TheBad, and The Ugly, if you're out with two of your friends....
Maybe I'm sending out music right now: (I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts;, Why doon't wedo it in the road? or perhaps "Killer Queen?)
Or maybe you're receiving my music: (Dead Skunk in the middle of the Road; Send in the clowns: WhatKind of Fool Am I?)
What ever, maybe my cousin's on to something, we should be listening more, and speaking less.
